Maasai Mara to Ngorongoro

Cross Kenya and Tanzania through the rich, fertile Masai Mara. The wonders of Kenya and Tanzania unfold before you on this incredible safari adventure, which goes deep into the heartland of the Maasai tribespeople and the finest game parks in eastern Africa. While traveling through the world-renowned Masai Mara, the vast open Serengeti plains on to the lakes of the Great Rift Valley and the dramatic scenery of the Ngorongoro Crater.

Day 1:
Airport - Nairobi

Welcome to Kenya! You’ll land in Nairobi and meet your driver at the airport for a transfer to your hotel.
If you arrive early in the day, there are plenty of Optional activities in the area for you to enjoy.

Visit 1. David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust Elephant orphanage, where they care for orphaned baby elephants before releasing them back into the wild.
2. Stop in at the Kazuri Bead Centre to learn about the processes of creating ceramic beads and local pottery by socially excluded women.
3. Feed endangered Rothschild’s giraffes at the Giraffe Centre.
4. Take in a cultural dance performance at Bomas of Kenya.
5. Stroll through the National Museum and its nearby Snake Park to learn about Kenyan history and some of its wildlife residents.

Day 2:
Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

You’ll have an early morning start and drive to Amboseli National Park. Check-in at your accommodation and have lunch. In the afternoon, go for a game drive.

Amboseli National Park is situated due south of Nairobi. Most of the park consists of a dry, ancient lake bed and fragile grassland with patches of acacia woodland, while in the southern area there is a number of small, rocky, volcanic hills. Around the swamps Ol Okenya, Ol Tukai and Enkongo Narok, the vegetation is lush with yellow barked acacias and phoenix palms. Meal Plan Lunch, Dinner. Overnight Stay Options ;

Day 3:
Full Day in Amboseli National Park

You’ll rise up early for good views of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds build up over the summit. With packed lunch provided, an optional visit to a Maasai village can be planned after breakfast. A visit reveals the singing and dancing that are part of their daily lives and sacred rituals. A glimpse into their homes and social structure is a poignant experience. Despite its changing habitat, Amboseli National Park is possibly the best wildlife area in the whole of Africa to experience elephants at close range. Left unharassed by poachers, elephants feeding and bathing in the swamps must form the highlights of any safari. Meal Plan Breakfast, Lunch ,Dinner.

Day 4:
Amboseli National Park to Sweetwaters


With a picnic lunch in hand, you’ll depart from Amboseli after an early breakfast for the drive to Sweetwater Conservancy, sometimes known as Sweet Waters.

Your drive not only takes you back through bustling Nairobi and then through the beautiful farm country of Kiyuku, but brings you to the very foothills of Mt. Kenya – Kenya’s highest mountain.

After arriving at Ol Pajeta, you’ll pay a visit to the park’s famous chimpanzee sanctuary to meet its adopted residents and then head out into the park proper for an evening game drive. Meal Plan Lunch, Dinner . Overnight Stay Options :

Day 5:
Sweetwater to Lake Nakuru National Park

You will enjoy a delicious early-morning breakfast, then check out from your lode. You will embark on a drive to Lake Nakuru National Park.

Across the equator, southwards of Bogoria, lies the rift valley’s most famous lake Nakuru. Known all over the world for its flamingoes, it’s alkaline and is recognized as being one of the natural wonders of the world. Lake Nakuru is now a rhino sanctuary, harboring a population of over 40 black and over 60 white rhinos, but the flamingos, of course, have always been the main attraction. At times there may be almost 2 million flamingos in the residence, forming a stunningly beautiful deep pink band around the edge of the lakeshore. Arrive in time for lunch then have an afternoon game drive.Overnight Stay Options :

Day 6:
Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara

An early morning drive to Maasai Mara National Reserve, it holds on as one of the few places left on earth where wildlife still lives comparatively undisturbed, in the numbers that once roamed the plains and forests of Africa. As the northern tip of the vast Serengeti ecosystem, the Mara hosts the spectacular seasonal migration of many thousands of Wildebeest, Zebras, and attendant predators. Arrive in time for lunch then have an afternoon game drive. Meal Plan Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner. Overnight Stay Options :

Day 7:
Full Day in Maasai Mara Game Reserve

Spend these day with either a full-day game drives or ideally a morning and afternoon game drives. The Masai Mara evokes strong images of animals hunting, mass migrations of herds if herbivores, and acacia trees pocking the grasslands with spots of shade. These images will come to vivid life as you embark on a full day inside the park after breakfast at your accommodation.
Your day will be spent alongside your professional Kenyan safari guide, who will help you track, spot, and identify to awe-inspiring animals you’ve travelled so far to see. You will spend the day adventuring through the savanna, and if you’re lucky enough to visit between July and October you may just be able to witness the mass migration of the zebras and wildebeest of the Masai Mara.

Your lunch will be served picnic style if you opt to spend the full day in the reserve. After sunset in the park, you will return to your camp or lodge for dinner and time to relax before your next day on safari in Africa.

Day 8:
Maasai mara to Nairobi

At the break of dawn, you embark on your concluding game drive in the Mara followed by a relaxed breakfast and onward departure for Nairobi.
Arrive in Nairobi by early afternoon [ typically by 2.30 pm]. Drop off at your hotel, or free onward transfer to the airport for your final leg of the tour in Rwanda and Uganda. Meal Plan on a Full board basis. Overnight Stay Options:

Day 9:
Nairobi to kigali

Transfer to JKIA to connect flight from Nairobi to Kigali, after arriving in Kigali, you can visit, The Kigali Genocide Memorial commemorates the 1994 genocide against the Tutsi. The remains of over 250,000 people are interred there. There is a visitor center for students and those wishing to understand the events leading up to the events of 1994. Kandt House Museum of Natural History is a museum in Kigali, Rwanda. It is under the responsibility of the Institute of National Museums of Rwanda. Dedicated to |de}}, in his former home of German resident Richard Kandt on the Nyarugenge Hill in Kigali city, The Nyamata Genocide Memorial is based around a former church 30km south of Kigali in Rwanda, which commemorates the Rwandan genocide in 1994. Day 10:
Kigali to Bwindi

A guide from Roar Quest Safaris will pick you up from Kigali International Airport or your hotel and brief you about your tour. Before your journey to Uganda, you will have an opportunity to tour the city of Kigali and important sites like the genocide war memorial centers. After touring the city, you will embark on a 4-hour drive to Bwindi through the Katuna (Uganda – Rwanda border). After Katuna you will head to Ruhija in Bwindi. This journey will allow you to see the beautiful countryside and landscapes in Rwanda and Uganda. Rwanda has eye-catching rolling hills and plantations while Uganda has dense green forests around the Bwindi area. Meal plan on a full board basis. ; Overnight Stay Options:

Day 11:
Trackking in Bwindi

You will wake up very early to have breakfast. Our guide will pick you up and take you to the park offices where you will be briefed and given information regarding tracking gorillas in Bwindi. 2 Day Gorilla Tour in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park you will be assigned a gorilla group and allowed to hire a porter at a cost of 10USD. Your lodge should arrange for you to pack lunch and drink water. Gorilla trekking takes anywhere from 30 minutes to 6 hours depending on the location of your assigned gorilla family that particular day. Once you spot the gorillas, take as many photos as you can and try to follow instructions from the wardens/guides. After completing the trek, come back to your hotel.Meal plan on a full board basis. ; Overnight Stay Options:
