Day 1:
Nairobi – Samburu National Reserve
With an early start, you will be picked-up from your hotel, residence, or from the airport if your arrival time is suitable. From Nairobi, you will make your way through the rugged African countryside.
Stunning landscapes will unfold during the journey and you will have the opportunity to stop and take photographs at the Equator and optional de-tour to learn about the Kikuyu culture at Thingira Cultural Village. Kikuyu is the biggest tribe in Kenya, a tribe that preoccupied the areas around slopes of Mt. Kenya and Aberdare ranges due to the red fertile soils and favorable weather for cultivating their crops.
Arrival in Samburu game reserve will be by lunch time. After lunch embark on a game drive to watch resident wildlife species like the Reticulated Giraffe, Grevy’s Zebra, Beisa Oryx and the Blue- necked Somali Ostrich that are rare elsewhere in the country. Day 2:
Full Day in Samburu National Reserve
Full Day spent exploring the Samburu game reserve park.
The day starts with breakfast, followed by a game drive through the national reserve. Your expert Kenyan safari guide will be on hand to help you find and identify the stunning array of animals that live in the park. Along with lions, buffalo, and giraffes, you can also expect to see baboons, warthogs, oryx, hippos and the many more creatures you may only have marveled at through a screen before.
You’ll return to your accommodation for lunch and time to rest and relax in the afternoon. Sunset over the savanna is a sight the behold, and you’ll leave your lodge or camp in time to watch the sun dip below the horizon of the park. The move from daytime to evening sees the character of the plains and forests change, with nocturnal and scavenging animals coming to life under cover of darkness.
Greeted by dinner, your return to your accommodation will be in the early evening.

Day 3:
Samburu National Reserve – Aberdare National Park
It’s time to say goodbye to the beauty of Samburu! After savoring a delicious breakfast, embark on an en-route game drive, an opportunity to catch any wildlife sightings you might have missed in the past few days and head to Aberdare National Park.
You will arrive at The Aberdares Country Club, nestled on the slopes of Mweiga Hill in time for lunch. After, set off for the Ark tree lodge, located in the forest on mountain slopes of the Aberdares Mountains at 7,000 feet. This outstanding lodge offers high altitude game viewing, including animals that are rarely encountered elsewhere: Giant Forest hog, Bush pig, Tree Hyrax, large Spotted Genet, and the elusive Bongo Antelope.
Wildlife can be observed from different levels – and from outside where you can see, hear and smell everything and inside where you can sit with a cup of tea and stay warm and cozy. You can put in a request to be awakened during the night if your favorite animals show up. A herd of Elephants might be just feet away and if you are lucky, a Leopard or large male Lion might put in an appearance.

Day 4:
Aberdare National Park – Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast, your will travel in your safari vehicle south west towards Lake Nakuru. A stop will be made on the way, giving you a chance to experience the 74-metre cascade of Nyahururu waterfall.
The brief interlude will be followed by the final leg of the journey to Lake Nakuru, where you will be served lunch at your accommodation. The body of water is one of the alkaline lakes of the Great African Rift Valley and teeming with life. Here, you can spot over 400 species of bird, both migratory and native. Some of the avian species on show include:
Fish eagles
Goliath herons
Pied kingfishers
Hamerkop
And so many more, of which your guide will be on hand to able assist you identify. There are also plenty of rhinos in the area, giving you ample opportunity to see one of the more elusive of the big five.
Upon your afternoon arrival you will explore the shores of the lake and return to your camp or lodge in time to have dinner. Take time to rest, indulge in the extra facilities on offer, and rest ahead of another enthralling day.

Day 5:
Lake Nakuru National Park – Masai Mara National Reserve
Lake Nakuru is also famed for its large flamingo population, and after breakfast you will have a final chance to see them as they dance and display whilst turning the surface of the lake seemingly pink with their vibrant hues. Upon leaving the national park, your journey will take you all the way to the southern edge of Kenya and into the Masai Mara.
The landscapes along the way range from panoramic to sublime; be ready to drink the scenery in the heart of Kenya.
You will arrive at Masai Mara and immediately be immersed in the undulating landscape, filled with high concentrations of animals. Your small game drive will take you to your accommodation for lunch and then you will take an extensive afternoon exploration of the Masai Mara.
If you’re lucky enough to visit during the migrations, between July and October, you will be rewarded with the spectacle of herds of beasts traversing these rolling plains. However, No matter the time of year, the Masai Mara will never be short of what you expected on your African Safari.

Day 6:
Full Day in Masai Mara National Reserve
Masai Mara landscape is dominated by the acacia trees mixed with long grass and volcanic boulders that punctuate the landscape. You will head out after breakfast at your accommodation, with your African safari guide on hand to help you track, spot, and identify all the animals you see.
The Mara offers wildlife in such variety and abundance that it is difficult to believe: over 450
species of animals have been recorded here. You will easily see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephant. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place (July to October). This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna- lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena and vultures.
Lunch will be served picnic style, so as to ensure you get as much of the day within the parks as possible. You will return to your accommodation for dinner and rest before the next day of your African safari.

It’s time to bid farewell to the Maasai Mara! Following a delightful breakfast, you’ll set out on a game drive along the way. This offers you another chance to spot any wildlife you might have missed during the past few days or to simply soak in the mesmerizing beauty of the Maasai Mara landscape.
Depending on your itinerary, you can opt to be transported to the airstrip for your flight back to Nairobi, or you can choose to enjoy a picturesque drive back to the city. Upon your arrival in Nairobi, we are pleased to offer the convenience of dropping you off at your preferred destination, whether it’s your residence, hotel, or the airport for your onward travel arrangements.
